What is Amazon inventory management software?

Amazon inventory management software keeps the quantity on your Amazon listings in step with the stock in your own warehouse. Fiftify receives each Amazon order the moment it is paid, reserves the units so no other channel can sell them, guides the pick and pack, and sends the tracking number back. The listing quantity updates once per packed shipment, never per scan.

Connect Amazon in three steps

1
Authorize Fiftify in Seller Central

Connect your Amazon seller account from the Fiftify integrations page.

2
Match listings to products

Amazon SKUs map to your products and bins - new listings are matched on import.

3
Choose what syncs

Orders in, stock out and tracking back are on by default; the first paid order lands in the queue.

What syncs between Amazon and Fiftify

What How it syncs
Orders In the moment they are paid, with items, buyer and shipping choice
Stock Out once per packed shipment, never per scan
Tracking Back per shipment, including partial ones
Cancellations Restock - warehouse tasks void and reserved units return to the pool
Products Mapped once between the listing and the shelf, variants included

One stock pool for Amazon and your other channels

A sale on Amazon reserves the unit in Fiftify the moment it is paid, so no other order can take it, and Shopify, eBay and Etsy listings update once the shipment is packed. One stock pool helps prevent the last unit from selling twice, and a buffer can keep the final units off Amazon entirely while they are still on the shelf.

What syncs

Same engine, same stock pool

Amazon runs on the same sync engine as Shopify - no bolted-on module with its own rules.

  • Orders land as pick tasks the moment they are paid
  • One stock pool across channels - no double-selling the last unit
  • Tracking flows back per shipment, including partials

Run every channel from one warehouse

Connect Amazon next to your other channels: one catalog, one layout, one set of labels and workflows.

Amazon FBA and your own warehouse

Fiftify manages the stock in your own warehouse: merchant-fulfilled Amazon orders arrive in the queue, are picked from your bins and ship from your bench with tracking sent back to Amazon. Stock that Amazon holds for you in FBA is a separate pool managed by Amazon. The units in your own building are counted once, reserved by whichever channel sells them first and deducted when the shipment packs.

Amazon integration FAQ

How do I manage Amazon inventory from my own warehouse?

Connect your seller account, and Amazon orders join the same queue as your other channels. Fiftify reserves the stock on payment, guides the pick and pack from your bins and sends the tracking number back to Amazon.

Can I sync inventory between Amazon and Shopify?

Yes. Both channels sell from one shared stock pool: a sale on either side reserves the unit for both, and each listing is updated once the shipment packs.

When does my Amazon stock update?

Once per packed shipment, never per scan. Inside the warehouse stock moves with every scan, but Amazon only sees a clean deduction when the shipment is created.

Does Fiftify work with Amazon FBA?

Fiftify manages the stock in your own warehouse and merchant-fulfilled orders. Stock held in FBA is a separate pool managed by Amazon.

How do Amazon orders become pick tasks?

A paid Amazon order appears in the queue with its items and shipping choice, and Fiftify turns it into a pick task or adds it to a batch. The picker follows the route on the map; nothing is retyped from Seller Central.
