Fiftify changelog: product updates, fixes and release notes
Every change to the Fiftify warehouse management system since Fiftify Inc. was founded on September 19, 2024: features, integrations and the apps on Google Play, the App Store, the Shopify App Store and the Amazon Selling Partner Appstore. Newest first. Planned work lives on the roadmap.
Fiftify on the App Store
The worker app is now on iPhone. Pick, pack, count and scan bins with the same account you use in the web admin, and the App Store listing comes in English, French, German, Spanish and Ukrainian. Android users have had the same app since earlier this month.
Fiftify on Google Play
The Android worker app leaves the waitlist and lands on Google Play. The phone camera works as a scanner, so a new picker can follow a route and confirm every bin without a scan gun. Orders and stock come from every connected channel, the same as on the desktop.
Roles scoped per warehouse
One warehouse, one role. A team member can Manage one site and only View another, or hold a single role across every warehouse in the account. Each role sets View, Manage and Delete levels per section, so each person sees what their job requires and nothing more.
Warehouse location labels in 16 media sizes
Bin, rack and shelf labels print straight from the warehouse layout, so a label always matches a real location on the map. Code 128 goes on strips and QR on squares, in sizes from 1.5 x 1 inch to full sheets. Arrows and rack signs are included, so an aisle can be labelled end to end in one print run.
Partial fulfillments
When part of an order ships first, the completed packing is locked and the remainder spawns the next packing on its own. Packings are numbered F1, F2, F3, and each one is its own job at the scan-to-pack bench with its own tracking number pushed to the store. Nothing about a shipped box can be edited after the fact.
Shopify sync
Listing quantities now update once per packed shipment instead of on every scan. The Shopify integration sends one clean deduction with buffers applied, so the storefront no longer flickers while a picker is mid-route. The number a customer sees is the number on the shelf.
Scan-to-pack benches with live weight
The packer scans each item against the order while the bench shows the live weight from the scale. Fiftify suggests a box from the items and the weight, and a missed scan blocks the label until it is fixed, which is the whole point of scan-to-pack.
Guided onboarding
After sign-up you can book a walkthrough with a real person: connect the store, draw a section of the floor and pick the first order together on the call. Everything covered on the call is also written up as short guides in the Help Center, so the rest of the team can follow along later.
Public roadmap and changelog
This page, and the roadmap next to it. Planned work sits on the roadmap with its status, and shipped work moves here with a date. No marketing in between.
Shopify App Store
On January 27, 2026 Fiftify went live in the Shopify App Store. Merchants install it from the store and connect in one click, and orders and stock sync both ways from the first minute. The free plan is available straight from the listing.
API for custom systems
Read stock, create orders and receive shipment events from your own systems through the Fiftify API. Every call works against the same shared stock pool and the same buffer rules as Shopify, so a custom channel cannot oversell either.
Help center and chat support
Short guides for every step now live at help.fiftify.com, from drawing the first zone to printing labels. The chat icon in the bottom right of every page reaches a real person, and email gets an answer within 24 hours on business days.
Multi-warehouse
Every plan now includes unlimited warehouses. Each site gets its own layout and its own team, while the sales channels keep seeing one combined stock number. How two sites become one number is explained on the multi-warehouse page.
Buffer rules
Buffer rules hold the last units off the market while you count or fix a discrepancy. With 116 units on hand and a buffer of 2, every channel sees 114. The buffer sits between on hand and available in inventory management, so it applies before any number leaves for a channel.
Shipping: best rate, one tap
Once a box is packed, Fiftify compares carrier rates for it, buys the label with one tap and sends the tracking number back to the store on its own. Rate comparison, labels and tracking are all covered on the shipping page.
Packing
Scan-to-pack arrives at the bench: the packer confirms every item against the order before a label exists. A wrong item or a missed scan stops the packing, which is where most mispicks used to slip through. How the bench works is on the packing page.
Picking: batches, routes, scan confirms
Paid orders turn into pick tasks on their own, nobody assigns them by hand. Batches get a walking route drawn on your layout, and scanning the bin confirms the picker stood at the right shelf; a wrong bin triggers a warning beep. Routes, batches and confirms are explained on the picking page.
Barcode scanning
Scanning arrives without special hardware: a phone camera does the job, and any Bluetooth or USB keyboard-wedge scanner you already own works too. Location barcodes mark bins and racks, product barcodes identify the items, and every pick, pack and stock move is confirmed by both. More on the barcode scanning page.
Warehouse layout editor
Draw zones, racks and bins to scale with real dimensions in the web admin. Everything downstream, from pick routes to labels to bin-level stock, reads from this one map. When the floor changes you update one warehouse layout instead of several spreadsheets.
Free plan and pricing
Four plans from $0, and every one of them includes unlimited SKUs, channels, warehouses and suppliers. The free Starter plan uses the same layout editor and scanning as the paid ones, and the 7-day full trial needs no credit card and no sales call. Current details are on the pricing page.
Shopify WMS integration
The first sales channel goes live with two-way sync of orders and stock. Shopify tracks a location; the Shopify integration tracks every bin inside that location and sends one combined number back to the store. Paid orders start arriving in the queue within minutes of connecting.
Amazon Selling Partner Appstore
Fiftify passes Amazon’s review on January 29, 2025 and is listed on the Selling Partner Appstore. The Amazon channel itself is still in development and will read from the same shared stock pool as Shopify, so the marketplace will not need its own inventory setup. Progress is tracked on the roadmap.
One order queue
Paid orders land in one queue and reserve units from one shared pool the moment they arrive. Every bin carries three separate numbers, on hand, reserved and available, and available is the only one a channel may sell. The queue lives in order management.
fiftify.com and the blog
The website goes live, and the first post explains what Fiftify is and is not: a warehouse management system, not a store builder and not a 3PL. Since then the blog has published warehouse workflows, written honestly, a few times a month.
Inventory core
Products, SKUs and stock levels in one place. The rule that shaped everything after it was set here: one stock number for every channel, so two stores can never sell the same last unit. That rule still sits at the center of inventory management today.
Fiftify Inc. founded
September 19, 2024, Dover, Delaware. Fiftify is built for multichannel sellers who ship their own orders and have outgrown spreadsheets: stock numbers they can trust and a clear path from paid order to shipped box. The About page has the longer version.
Frequently asked questions
How often does Fiftify ship updates?
There is no fixed release day. Work goes live when it is done and gets a dated entry on this page, so the cadence is visible rather than promised. In 2026 that has meant something new or improved most months, from the Shopify sync change in May to the mobile apps in September. Planned work sits on the roadmap until it ships.
Is there an app to keep track of inventory from my phone?
Yes. The Fiftify worker app is on Google Play and the App Store. It shows stock levels, orders and bin locations from every connected channel, and it uses the phone camera as a barcode scanner for picking, packing and counts. It runs on the same account as the web admin, so nothing is set up twice.
Does Shopify have inventory management, and what does a WMS add?
Shopify tracks a quantity per location, such as a store or a warehouse. Fiftify tracks every bin inside that location, reserves units the moment an order is paid, and sends one combined number back to the store. Since the May 2026 sync change that number updates once per packed shipment, so the storefront never shows a quantity that is mid-pick. The Shopify WMS integration page covers setup and sync in detail.
Does Fiftify work with Amazon, eBay and Etsy?
Not yet as live channels. Fiftify has been listed on the Amazon Selling Partner Appstore since January 2025, and the Amazon connection is in development; the Etsy integration is in development as well, and eBay is planned. All three will read from the same shared stock pool as Shopify, so they will not need a separate inventory setup. Shopify and the API are live today, and each new channel gets an entry here on the day it goes live.
What is order picking, and how does Fiftify confirm a pick?
Order picking is the step where a worker collects the items of an order from their bins. In Fiftify a paid order becomes a pick task on its own, joins a batch and gets a walking route drawn on your warehouse layout. The picker scans the bin and the item at each stop; a wrong bin triggers a warning beep, so a mispick is caught on the shelf and not at the customer’s door. More on the picking page.
How do you label racks and shelves in a warehouse?
Print the labels from the same map you pick from. Fiftify draws the warehouse layout to scale and generates bin, rack and shelf labels straight from it, in 16 media sizes from 1.5 x 1 inch strips to full sheets, with Code 128 on strips and QR on squares. Arrows and rack signs are included, so one print run labels an aisle end to end and every scanned label matches a real location.
How much does a warehouse management system cost?
Fiftify pricing scales with order volume. The Starter plan is free for up to 100 orders a month, and paid plans run from $99 to $799 a month for 500 to 10,000 orders. Every plan includes unlimited SKUs, sales channels, warehouses and suppliers. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page.
How long does it take to implement a warehouse management system?
With Fiftify there is no rollout project. Create a free account, connect your Shopify store, draw a section of the floor, print labels and pick a first order, all on the free plan with no credit card and no sales call. If you would rather not do it alone, guided onboarding lets you book a walkthrough after sign-up and do those steps with a real person on the call.
Do I need to buy barcode scanners?
No. The worker app turns a phone camera into a scanner, and that is enough to start. If you already own Bluetooth or USB keyboard-wedge scanners, they work with Fiftify without extra setup. Location barcodes on bins and racks come from your layout; product barcodes are the UPC or EAN codes already on the items. See the barcode scanning page.
How do I find out what is coming next, or ask for a feature?
Planned work is on the public roadmap; shipped work moves to this changelog with a date. Feature requests go through the chat icon at the bottom right of any page, where a real person answers. If you want updates without checking back, the blog newsletter sends one email a month.
