What is packing software?
Packing software runs the bench between picking and shipping: it checks each unit into the box, records the package and weight, and prints the paperwork. In Fiftify it also buys the shipping label, so packing ends with a labeled box and an updated listing.
How does packing software prevent wrong items in the box?
Every unit is scanned into the package against the order, and a scan that does not belong is refused. A short count blocks the label too, so the box cannot close until the order is complete or marked as a partial shipment.
Can I print packing slips and shipping labels together?
Yes. When the label is bought, the packing slip prints with it from the same bench, so nothing is matched by hand afterwards.
Can one order be packed into several boxes?
