Inventory management API: connect systems to warehouse work

Push orders in, read stock and shipments back, and connect Fiftify to the channels and tools you already use - on every plan, in plain JSON.

REST and webhooks on every plan · JSON in and out

What the inventory management API does

The inventory management API gives other systems the same view the warehouse has. A custom storefront or an ERP can create orders that reserve stock and become pick tasks, read the on hand, reserved and available quantity of any SKU, and follow a shipment through packing to its tracking number. Webhooks push the changes the other way, so a connected system learns about a packed shipment or a stock change without polling. It is a REST API with JSON in and out, included on every plan, including the free one.

Endpoints

Method Path What it does
POST /v1/orders Create an order: items, buyer and shipping choice. Stock is reserved and a pick task is created.
GET /v1/inventory?sku=SNB-HYD-158 Read on hand, reserved and available for a SKU, with the per-warehouse breakdown.
GET /v1/shipments/SO-0019 Read the shipments of an order: status, packages, carrier and tracking numbers.

Authentication and webhooks

Every request is authenticated with an API key issued in the account settings and sent in the request header. Webhooks are included on every plan: subscribe an endpoint to events such as order shipped, shipment created and stock changed, and Fiftify posts a JSON payload when they happen.

API FAQ

What can I do with the Fiftify inventory API?

Create orders from any storefront or system, read stock levels per SKU and per warehouse, and follow shipments to their tracking numbers. Webhooks notify your system when stock or shipments change.

Where are the API docs?

Ask in the chat on this page and we will send you the API documentation: endpoints, request and response examples and the webhook payloads. The API key itself is issued in your account settings.

Are webhooks included on every plan?

Yes. The REST API and webhooks are part of every plan, including the free one - there is no API add-on.

Which data formats does the API use?

JSON for every request and response, over HTTPS. Dates are ISO 8601 and quantities are integers per unit.

Can I connect a custom store or ERP?

Yes. Push orders in with POST /v1/orders, read stock back with GET /v1/inventory and subscribe to webhooks for shipments - that is the whole loop a channel integration uses.
