Fiftify is a warehouse management system built for multichannel sellers. It connects the orders you receive online with the shelves, bins, and packing benches where those orders get fulfilled. You manage inventory, pick, pack, and ship from one easy-to-use platform, on a desktop or a phone.

We started building Fiftify in 2024 for sellers who had outgrown spreadsheets. Most of them did not need an enterprise system with a long rollout. They needed stock numbers they could trust and a clear path from paid order to shipped box.

This guide explains what the product does, who it is for, and how it works day to day. It also covers what it is not, which sales channels it supports today, and what each plan costs. Throughout the page, we describe the product as it works now. When a feature is planned rather than live, we say so.

What Fiftify is, and what it is not

A warehouse management system (WMS) is software that controls how stock moves inside a warehouse. It tracks where each item sits, guides people to pick it, and confirms each step. Fiftify does this job for small and mid-size ecommerce teams.

The software sits between your sales channels and your warehouse floor. Orders flow in from your store. Pick tasks, packing steps, and shipping labels flow out. Stock levels flow back to every channel after each shipment.

It helps to be clear about what Fiftify does not do:

  • It is not an e-commerce platform. It does not host your storefront, checkout, or payments. Shopify handles that side, and Fiftify runs the warehouse behind it.
  • It is not a 3PL. Fiftify is software for teams that store and ship their own stock. We do not store products or fulfill orders for you.
  • It is not an accounting system. It tracks units, locations, and orders, not your books.

This distinction matters when you compare tools. An ecommerce warehouse management system solves a different problem than a store builder. If your pain is stockouts, mispicks, and oversold listings, a WMS is the right category to explore.

Who it is built for

Fiftify fits sellers who fulfill their own orders and feel the strain of manual work. That strain usually starts when order volume grows past what one person can track in a spreadsheet.

Typical users include:

  • Growing online brands that ship from a stockroom, garage, or small warehouse.
  • Multichannel sellers who need one stock number across every place they sell.
  • Teams with two or more locations, such as a main warehouse and an overflow site.
  • Small warehouse teams of one to ten people who share pick and pack work.

Plans scale from one staff account to ten, and every plan includes unlimited warehouses. That makes the product a practical option for warehouse management in a small business that plans to grow.

Fiftify is a weaker fit in two cases. If a third-party logistics provider already handles all of your fulfillment, a WMS on your side adds little. And if you need a system built around a long custom implementation, an enterprise WMS may suit you better. How Fiftify works: from paid order to shipped box

The easiest way to understand the product is to follow one order through the building. Here is what happens when a customer buys two units of the same item.

  1. The order lands in one queue. A paid order arrives from your store and joins orders from every other channel.
  2. Stock is reserved. Fiftify reserves the units from one shared pool across all your warehouses.
  3. The order becomes a pick task. It joins a batch and gets a walking route drawn on your warehouse layout.
  4. A picker scans the bin. The worker app confirms the right shelf and the right item. A wrong shelf triggers a warning beep.
  5. The order is packed. At a scan-to-pack bench, the packer confirms each item, and the system suggests a box.
  6. A label is bought. Fiftify compares shipping rates, buys the label, and sends tracking back to the store.
  7. The listing updates once. After packing, one stock deduction updates every channel.

Nobody assigns tasks by hand in this flow. Paid orders turn into pick tasks on their own. A new hire can follow the route on a phone from day one.

The last step is where Fiftify differs from many inventory tools. Listings change once, when the shipment is real, rather than with every scan. That keeps channel quantities stable while work is in progress.

Core features of the Fiftify WMS

The platform covers the full path from stock on the shelf to a shipped order. The table below summarizes each part of the product.

Feature What it does
Inventory management Tracks on hand, reserved, and available stock for every bin
Order management Collects orders from every channel into one queue
Picking Builds batches and walking routes, then confirms each pick by scan
Packing Runs scan-to-pack benches with live weight and box suggestions
Shipping Finds the best rate, prints the label, and returns tracking
Layout and bins Draws your floor to scale with zones, racks, and bins
Barcode scanning Uses a phone camera or any keyboard-wedge scanner
Multi-warehouse Runs unlimited sites with their own layouts and roles

The layout editor deserves a closer look. You draw zones, racks, and bins once in the web admin, using real dimensions. From that same map, you print bin, rack, and shipping labels in 16 media sizes. Labels use Code 128 or QR, depending on the label shape.

Routes and labels come from one map, so your data stays consistent. When the floor changes, you update one layout instead of several spreadsheets.

One stock number across every channel

Overselling usually happens for a simple reason. Two channels believe they can sell the same last unit. Fiftify prevents that with a single shared stock pool.

Every channel sells from the same number. For each product in each bin, the system tracks three values:

  • On hand: units physically on the shelf.
  • Reserved: units promised to open orders.
  • Available: units that channels are allowed to sell.

Buffer rules add a safety margin. By default, they hold the last few units off the market while you count or fix a discrepancy. For example, with 116 units on hand and a buffer of two, your channels see 114.

Timing matters too. Some tools deduct stock at every scan, which can make listings jump during a busy pick. Fiftify deducts once per packed shipment. As a result, the listing says four because the shelf has four.

This approach sits at the core of our multichannel inventory management. For a broader look at the topic, see our practical guide to multi-channel inventory management.

Sales channels and integrations

The product is designed for multichannel selling. Here is what connects today.

Channel Status What it covers
Shopify Live Two-way sync of orders and stock
Amazon Live Orders and stock from the shared pool
eBay Live Orders and stock from the shared pool
Etsy Live Orders and stock from the shared pool
API Available Connects custom systems

For Shopify sellers, Fiftify works as a full Shopify warehouse management system. Shopify itself tracks stock by location, such as a store or a warehouse. Fiftify goes one level deeper. It tracks each bin inside each location, then sends one combined number back to your store.

Looking for a warehouse management system for Shopify? The Shopify integration page explains setup and sync in detail.

Amazon, eBay, and Etsy work the same way. Each marketplace reads from the same shared pool, so none of them needs its own inventory setup. The Amazon, eBay, and Etsy integration pages explain setup for each channel. Features still in development are listed on the public roadmap.

Barcode scanning and the mobile app

Scanning is how the system confirms that work happened correctly. Every pick, pack, and stock move is verified with a scan.

You do not need to buy special hardware to start. The worker app turns a phone camera into a scanner. It is available on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iOS. If you already own Bluetooth or USB scanners, they work too. Any keyboard-wedge scanner connects without extra setup.

Two kinds of barcodes matter in a warehouse:

  • Location barcodes mark bins and racks. Fiftify prints these from your layout.
  • Product barcodes identify the items themselves. Many sellers use UPC or EAN codes issued through GS1, the global standards body for barcodes.

Scanning the bin and the item at each step turns a guess into a check. The picker proves they stood at the right bin and took the right item. For more on setting up scanning, read our guide to the barcode inventory system.

How Fiftify approaches AI

Earlier versions of this page described Fiftify as an “AI-powered e-commerce platform.” That description no longer fits the product, so we want to be direct about it.

One of our core values is Intelligence with Purpose. Technology should support better decisions, not create more work. We use AI only where it adds clear value, and we leave it out where it does not.

Today, the workflows that keep your stock accurate rely on clear rules and scan confirmations:

  • Buffer rules decide how many units stay off the market.
  • Batches and routes follow the layout you drew.
  • Scans confirm each pick, pack, and move.

You can check each of these steps yourself, and that is the point. In a warehouse, predictable software beats clever software that nobody can explain. Any intelligent features we add will face the same test. They must make warehouse work easier and remain easy to verify.

Security and data protection

Your warehouse data describes your business: products, stock, suppliers, and customer orders. We treat that data with care.

Access control starts inside your team. Roles apply per warehouse, so a person can manage one site and only view another. Each staff member sees what their job requires.

The mobile app encrypts the data it syncs with your account and uses secure authentication. For full details on infrastructure and data handling, see the security page. Business customers can also review our Data Processing Agreement and the list of subprocessors.

Pricing and the free plan

Pricing scales with order volume and team size. The free plan includes the same layout editor and scanning as paid plans.

Plan Price Orders per month Staff accounts
Starter $0 100 1
Growth $99/month 500 3
Advanced $299/month 2,500 5
Professional $799/month 10,000 10

Every plan includes unlimited SKUs, sales channels, warehouses, and suppliers. You can also start a 7-day trial of the full product. No credit card is required, and there is no sales call. See current details on the pricing page.

A free warehouse management software plan is useful for testing on real orders. Connect your store, draw a small section of your floor, and pick a few orders before you commit.

How it compares to other options

Most sellers compare Fiftify with one of three alternatives.

Spreadsheets. They cost nothing and work at low volume. However, they cannot confirm a pick, reserve stock, or update a listing. Errors grow with every new channel and every new person. Our Fiftify vs spreadsheets page covers the switch in detail.

Shipping-first tools. These start at the label. They help you buy postage quickly, but the warehouse steps before the label often stay manual.

Other warehouse and inventory tools. We publish side-by-side comparisons with Veeqo, ShipHero, ShipStation, SKULabs, and SKUSavvy. You can read them all on the comparisons hub.

A good way to choose is to test with your own orders. A tool that looks strong in a demo may still slow down your packers. Because the free plan needs no card, you can run that test at no cost.

The principles behind Fiftify

Our mission is to turn warehouse complexity into clarity. Four values guide how we build the product.

  • Clarity over complexity. Simple software solves more problems than complicated software. Every feature needs a clear purpose.
  • Intelligence with purpose. Technology should support better decisions without adding work.
  • Empower every business. Good warehouse software should not be limited to enterprise companies. Growing teams deserve the same efficiency.
  • Forward without compromise. Growth should never cost stability. Sellers rely on the system every day, at any volume.

Our vision is a world where intelligent warehouse operations help every business grow. The public changelog and roadmap show how that vision turns into shipped work.
